This position is with a leading manufacturer of Large Power Systems focusing on assemblinggenerator sets packaging custom power solutions (like gensets in enclosures) manufacturing components for diesel/gas engines (C9 C15 C32 series) and developing newer battery/electrified power systems serving critical needs for hospitals data centers and global industries with reliable power.

What you will do:

Collaborates with engineers partners and suppliers to meet business goals in accordance with the sustainable use of facilities and budget demands.
Constructs an efficient facility maintenance team and guides training sessions to ensure quality performance.
Evaluates the operations effectiveness with current utilities and equipment; provides appropriate solutions to challenges and risks.
Oversees inspections repairs and updates of facilities and relevant operational activities; maintains order at the facility.

Skills you must have:

Budgeting:Extensive knowledge of organizations budget process; ability to apply policies and practices for planning and administering a budget.
Effectiveness Measurement:Extensive knowledge of effective measurement techniques and ability to measure the quality and quantity of work effort for the purpose of improvement.
Problem Solving:Extensive knowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizing anticipating and resolving organizational operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Manufacturing Equipment:Knowledge of the electrical mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing; ability to safely operate maintain update and store them.
Manufacturing Application Systems:Extensive knowledge of company and industry databases and applications used in a manufacturing environment; ability to operate maintain and update these systems.
Manufacturing Standards Procedures and Policies:Knowledge of organizational standards procedures and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan guide and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.
Plant Facilities Management:Extensive knowledge of processes methodologies and techniques used to manage plant facilities; ability to handle the full spectrum of activities for managing and maintaining physical facilities and infrastructure.
Supplier Management - MFG:Extensive knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge experience and skills into real practice.

Education/Experience:

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Top candidates will also have:

ABET accredited Engineering or Engineering Technology degree.
Experience in one or more of the skilled trades
Knowledge of shop operations and common maintenance practices
Knowledge of manufacturing operations processes machines equipment and systems
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize maintenance activities.
