Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

Under limited supervision manages and directs all commissary barber shop laundry operations receiving and fixed assets while adhering to the agency mission: safety service and stewardship.
Distributes employee and inmate clothing personal hygiene products bedding and cleaning supplies.
Responsible for ordering supplies and maintaining adequate inventory.
Ensures proper sanitation and safety in all areas of responsibility as required by local state and federal guidelines.
Maintains strict compliance and adherence to policy and procedures.
Monday-Friday work week
15 days of paid vacation
15 days of sick leave
13 paid holidays
Major medical insurance (BlueCross/BlueShield)

Must successfully complete four (4) week SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management public administration or administrative services. A bachelors degree may be substituted for required work experience.

A High School Diploma and relevant experience in business management public administration or administrative services. A bachelors degree may be substituted for required work experience.
