Job Description:
Microchip is seeking a recent university graduate to join our Networking Communication Group as an Applications this entry-level role you will support Ethernet endpoints and switches helping customers successfully integrate Microchip products into their applications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting field engineers and customers with technical questions during the development process
- Creating and maintaining technical enablement materials to improve the user experience such as:
- Application notes
- Knowledge base articles
- User manuals
- Sample code
- Identifying gaps in current enablement materials and actively contributing to improvements for enhanced customer support
- Collaborating with development teams to define high-level requirements that improve the customer experience with new products
Requirements/Qualifications:
This position is specifically targeted at recent graduates or entry-level candidates with a strong technical interest:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related field
- Practical experience through internships student projects or thesis work with:
- Programming languages such as C C Python or other embedded languages
- Linux operating systems and basic system concepts
- Basic understanding of embedded processors development workflows and related ecosystems
- Introductory knowledge of Ethernet communication protocols such as TCP/IP UDP CoAP or SOME/IP is a plus
- Basic knowledge of networking and network management concepts is desirable
- Strong willingness to learn structured working style and interest in customer-focused technical support
