About the role:

Join Boston Scientifics Urology Division during an exciting phase of rapid growth as we approach $3B in annual worldwide sales. As a Senior Revenue Financial Analyst you will play a critical role in delivering financial insights that influence decisionmaking across the organization. This role is primarily responsible for revenue forecasting planning and reporting serving as a key contributor in communicating the Divisions global financial performance.

Reporting to the Urology Finance Associate Director this position offers a high degree of exposure to Urology Senior Management and frequent interaction with divisional and regional finance partners across the organization. The ideal candidate is a strong analytical thinker with deep financial acumen and the ability to simplify complex data in a highly matrixed global environment.

At Boston Scientific we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in Marlborough office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with Prosthetic Urology and Pelvic Health business leaders to develop detailed revenue and pricing forecasts incorporating historic trended and current business information.
  • Coordinate with the Prosthetic Urology and Pelvic Health Franchise Controller and Leadership Teams to identify key business drivers trends risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed analysis of price versus volume impact and partner with Sales Operations to develop new pricing programs and evaluate their performance.
  • Develop market models for Prosthetic Urology and Pelvic Health franchises and consolidate market models across the Division.
  • Perform daily sales reporting and forecasting by franchise and major product to provide senior leadership with insight into sales trends and projections.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in revenue and gross margin financial systems including partnering with Corporate on hierarchy changes and with FinOps on reporting.
  • Perform or review monthend close account reconciliations and manage revenuerelated corporate processes including EE&O analysis and revenue inquiries and checklists.
  • Conduct adhoc analysis to support critical business needs and strategic initiatives.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Economics Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in financial analysis planning or business support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to consolidate synthesize and report on large volumes of financial data.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and operate in a consultative capacity.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex highly matrixed global organization.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Hyperion Planning SAP and Tableau.
  • MBA or masters degree in a related field.
  • Experience becoming a subject matter expert in financial or reporting systems.
  • Demonstrated drive and ambition to grow into more senior finance roles within the Urology Division.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) see --will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training pertinent education including licensure and certifications among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for hourly non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g. any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for salaried non-sales roles may also include variable compensation i.e. annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for sales roles is governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives).

This job involves regular collaboration with colleagues clients and stakeholders across Canada the U.S. and/or internationally making proficiency in English essential for effective communication and alignment. English is necessary for engaging with a range of documentation and maintaining effective communication if interacting with external clients or vendors.

As detailed in the job description this job involves communicating both verbally and in writing with other Boston Scientific teams located across Canada the United States and/or with our international clients and partners. International customers and partners represent an important part of our activities. Based on an evaluation we have determined that the duties of Senior Revenue Financial Analystposition require knowledge of English in addition to French (oral and written). We also determined that the English language skills already required of other employees do not permit the performance of English language skills tasks related to Senior Revenue Financial Analystposition.

However in Québec Boston Scientific limits as much as possible the number of positions for which it requires the knowledge of another language than French. Boston Scientific solely requires proficiency in English where it is necessary for the performance of an employees duties.
