Five years of experience in television or video production videography or photography for print media; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field plus two years of experience in television or video production videography or photography for print media; OR
A bachelors degree plus two years of experience in television or video production videography or photography for print media.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties:
- Work with the filming director production team and anchors/reporters to ensure filmed scenes are high quality and relevant to our audience. This includes documentary studio and live events.
- Use the principles of film production to ensure the proper lighting visuals sound and camera angles are used to capture the best shots possible.
- Provide alternate filming solutions such as different camera angles or effects when needed.
- Actively acquire and maintain camera equipment including stands gimbals filters and dollies.
- Adept at editing with Adobe Premiere and able to create basic graphics.
- Keep up to date on the latest camera operating technologies and trends.

Work Schedule: Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday-Friday; however varying work schedules are offered.
Division: Production Department
Compensation: Applicants that possess experience greater than the minimum qualifications may be considered for a salary higher than the minimum hiring rate utilizing State Civil Service Rule 6.5(g).
