At SLS Red Sea a Waiter/Server plays a key role in delivering an elevated and dynamic dining experience that is bold playful and personal. Reporting to the F&B Supervisor this position is responsible for providing attentive high-quality food and beverage service while supporting the overall operation of the outlet. The Waiter/Server ensures smooth day-to-day service contributes to guest satisfaction and helps drive revenue through upselling and expert product knowledge.
Key Responsibilty:
Provide consistent professional service of all food and beverage offerings in accordance with hotel SOPs and brand standards.
Ensure a smooth flow of daily operations and support the Supervisor in meeting service quality and guest satisfaction goals.
Act as a liaison between the kitchen and the service team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
Maintain a strong presence on the floor anticipating guest needs and ensuring a warm engaging and efficient dining experience.
Confidently handle guest inquiries comments or complaints with a solutions-focused and proactive approach.
Maintain cleanliness hygiene and presentation standards across the dining area and service stations.
Use POS systems (e.g. Micros) efficiently for order-taking and billing processes; handle cash and credit transactions in line with company procedures.
Monitor product quality and communicate any inconsistencies to the Supervisor or Chef.
Consistently apply upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue.
Assist in daily and weekly inventory checks and ensure proper storage and stock levels of operating equipment and supplies.
Support the bar operations when required.
Attend pre-shift briefings team meetings and training sessions as required.
Deliver highly personalized service to all guests including VIPs ensuring each guest feels recognized and valued.
