Job Summary

What we are looking for:

An energetic and ambitious CA/CPA/CMA with 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance who aims to build a career in Corporate Accounting. Senior Accountant - Corporate Accounting:

Month-End/Quarter-End Close: Manage the preparation and posting of journal entries account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
Journals & Adjustments: Prepare and review accruals prepaids amortization benefits payroll and other necessary journal entries.
Fixed Assets Accounting: Oversee fixed asset register including capitalization depreciation and disposals. Ensure proper accounting treatment for capital project costs in accordance with US GAAP.
Intercompany Accounting: Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances across global entities.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow ensuring accurate accounting and reporting of cash transactions and balances.
Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Perform detailed account reconciliations for Capex PPD Leases Accruals & Other BS GLs and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Variance Analysis: Prepare the flux commentaries for MoM QoQ & YoY.
Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to SOX controls company policies and regulatory requirements.
Audit Support: Prepare necessary documentation for internal and external audits addressing queries and ensuring timely completion of audits.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation and implement those improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and accounting processes.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with FP&A Treasury Accounts Payable Business and other teams to ensure the integrity and completeness of financial data.
Ad-Hoc Projects: Support various finance projects system implementations and initiatives to optimize accounting processes and systems.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you have:

Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes decision-making or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools automating workflows analyzing AI-driven insights or exploring AIs potential impact on the function or industry.
5 years of accounting experience preferably in an accounting center of excellence for a US MNC managing close for AMER EMEA & APAC region.
CA CPA CMA and bachelors degree in accounting or finance is required.
Strong organizational skills and detail-orientedself-starter with the ability to workindependently to meet deadlines.
Great interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
Ability to multi-task work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
Ability to work effectively across time zones/geographies with key stakeholders. Experience working in a matrix organization would be an advantage.
A working knowledge of SAP is a must.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to question execute and proactively follow up
Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
Proficiency with MS Office especially Excel.
