This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership managing Quality Assurance programs under CASA Part 42 and 145 embedding Safety Management Systems (SMS) and driving audits change and risk initiatives where youll partner with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure airworthiness and operational integrity while introducing fresh perspectives to continuous improvement.

To be successful youll have:
Working knowledge of CASA Part 42 and 145 regulations.
Experience in Safety Management Systems involving quality assurance risk management and compliance within aviation or similar regulated industries.
Understanding and knowledge of Quality & Risk management standards and principles.
Ability to analyse and interpret data with proficiency in tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Office.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical teams both verbally and in writing.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities under pressure and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with IT systems such as Intelex TRAX Workday Comply365 and Flydocs (desirable).
Ability to comply with workplace safety regulations and practices
Lead Auditor certification and aircraft type knowledge (A220 Q400) would be advantageous.
