The Role
As a Financial Apprentice you will work within our busy finance team to support daily financial operations gain exposure to manufacturing cost control and understand the financial process. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for numbers and an interest in finance within a fast-paced hands-on industry.

- Enter purchase ledger invoices.
- Assist in processing purchase and sales invoices.
- Support with stock and cost accounting entries.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and post journals including accruals and prepayments.
- Help maintain fixed asset registers and support month-end close activities.
- Monitor manufacturing costs and assist with variance analysis.
- Support inventory valuations and standard costing processes.
- Use ERP and finance systems
- Liaise with operations and procurement teams to ensure accurate reporting.
- Maintain organised financial records and documentation.
- Complete AAT coursework and attend relevant training sessions.
About you
- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above).
- Good numeracy and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A-Level BTEC or equivalent qualification in Business Finance or Economics.
- Previous experience (e.g. part-time job internship) in an office or finance setting.
