Job Summary
Job Summary:
Responsible for care of patient in operating room. Provides and ensures safe and therapeutically effective patient care. Maintains work area. Participates in 24-hour call coverage. Responsible for preparing assembling and maintenance of operating room instrumentation and equipment. Responsible for scrubbing a wide variety of surgical cases.
Education and Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Licensures/ Certifications:
- Washington State Surgical Tech license required.
- Current American Heart Associations BLS/CPR certification card on hire.
Experience:
- Medical background/previous hospital experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Attention to detail.
- Computer proficiency.
- Able to work well both individually and in a team.
