- Design Engaging Infant Lesson Plans: Create nurturing age-appropriate learning experiences based on early childhood development best practices including tummy time sensory play language development and milestone-focused activities.
- Maintain Safe & Happy Environments: Ensure a clean safe organized and emotionally supportive infant classroom aligned with all childcare licensing regulations and center policies.
- Monitor Infant Growth & Development: Observe and track developmental milestones (cognitive social-emotional fine/gross motor) and celebrate each childs progress.
- Communicate with Families Daily: Build strong partnerships with families by sharing updates photos and cheerful moments through our mobile app and daily communication tools.
- Collaborate with Teaching Staff: Work closely with assistant teachers and other infant educators to ensure a warm engaging and consistent learning environment.
- Health Safety & Care Routines: Perform essential caregiving tasks such as feeding diapering nurturing comforting and maintaining consistent routines that support each childs well-being.
- 2 years of experience as an Infant Lead Teacher or similar role in a licensed childcare daycare or early childhood education center.
- Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred; High School Diploma/GED required.
- Knowledge of state and local childcare licensing requirements infant safety standards and appropriate classroom ratios.
- Strong understanding of infant development responsive caregiving and early learning best practices.
