Shifts Available: MondayFriday 07:00 AM 02:45 PM
Pay Rate: $45/hr
Contract Length: 29 Weeks

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Special Education Teacher Cross Categorical for an exciting Travel or Local job in Ashburn VA.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to a range of disabilities and learning styles
Implement and track Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and accommodations
Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive learning environments
Manage classroom behaviors using evidence-based strategies
Conduct progress monitoring assessments and maintain accurate documentation
Participate in IEP meetings parent communication and interdisciplinary team collaboration
Provide small-group and one-on-one instruction to meet individual student goals
Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes independence and growth

Required Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility in VA)
Knowledge of IEP development compliance and implementation
Experience supporting students with varied learning disabilities (LD ED OHI Autism etc.)
Strong communication and collaboration skills with students staff and families

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in an elementary education SPED role
Proficiency in behavior management strategies and assistive technologies
Experience in co-teaching or inclusion classroom models
