Job Summary
Dallas Direct Auto is seeking a dedicated Parts Counterman to join our team in Irving this role you will be responsible for efficiently managing and selling automotive parts to customers ensuring a smooth and professional experience. You will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our parts department contributing to customer satisfaction and overall business success.
$20-25 per clock hour
3 weeks of paid time off after 1 year.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in locating and purchasing automotive parts and accessories.
- Maintain accurate and organized parts inventory and records.
- Process orders and handle cash and credit transactions quickly and accurately.
- Communicate effectively with mechanics suppliers and other departments.
- Provide product recommendations and technical information to customers.
- Ensure the parts counter area is clean organized and well-stocked.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with inventory management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
