Shift: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Pay Rate:
Local Pay: $2250 weekly
Travel Pay: $2766 weekly

Additional Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience Phlebotomy experience NYS Clinical Laboratory Technician License

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Laboratory Coordinator (Contract)for an exciting job in New York NY.

Responsibilities

Diagnostic & Laboratory Procedures

• Perform basic and routine diagnostic procedures to isolate and identify microbial pathogens.

• Prepare clinical specimens and operate automated laboratory analyzers.

• Conduct manual lab tests according to established protocols.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of laboratory techniques instrumentation and physiological factors affecting results.

Quality & Compliance

• Remain familiar with all testing procedures performed within the lab.

• Participate in special projects including evaluation of new products and laboratory equipment.

• Perform quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability.

• Adhere to all regulatory safety and infection-control standards.

General Support

• Assist with daily laboratory operations as needed.

• Ensure proper documentation and maintain accurate records.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned by laboratory leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience (mandatory)

• Phlebotomy experience required

• NYS Clinical Laboratory Technician License required

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Basic proficiency with MS Office Suite

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a clinical laboratory environment

• Experience working in mobile or off-site clinical units

Education

• Associate degree OR equivalent combination of laboratory education and hands-on experience
