Position Overview
Calian is currently seeking a team-oriented Engineer/Analyst to support a client in Bruce County. Engineer/Analyst oversees reviews and approves engineering work for the development and changes on major projects. The Owners Engineer must work collaboratively with Calian and client peers and stakeholders.
The key characteristic for successful candidates is proactivity in learning and discovering project details along with perseverance in working towards solutions with thorough attention to detail. The position requires excellent verbal & written communication skills are required. A background (experience or education) in the nuclear industry or a background in mechatronics engineering of complex mission-critical projects is an asset. Proficiency in mechanical electrical and controls engineering is an asset. Experience with SolidWorks AutoCAD MS Visio MS Excel and MS Project are highly valued. Owners Engineering Training and Qualifications are also highly valued.
