About the position
This position resides in the Department of Biochemistry and Chemistry and will contribute to the delivery of science biomedicine and related courses. The position will contribute to teaching in chemistry while also working at the interface with biochemistry biomedicine and related fields. This position involves using evidence-based methods to develop and evaluate teaching initiatives contributing to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) at La Trobe University by sharing best practices and coordinating and teaching subjects to deliver engaging high-quality learning experiences across diverse formats.
Responsibilities also include providing fair and timely feedback to students participating in innovative curriculum design and review especially in online and blended delivery embedding employability skills into the curriculum seeking funding for teaching improvements with mentoring support fostering local knowledge transfer and relationships serving on departmental and school committees adhering to university policies and undertaking additional duties as directed by academic leadership.
