Description
JOB DUTIES
- Connect electrical wires between individual component leads and other components connectors terminals and contact points.
- Cut wire to specified lengths and route comb twist wrap tie and attach wire to terminal points.
- Disassemble modify rework refurbish and reassemble as required.
- Perform tasks requiring knowledge of a combination of processes operations and equipment.
- Work from production blueprints wiring diagrams parts lists wire lists sketches and verbal instructions to produce electrical or electromechanical subassemblies.
- Use fine motor skills to assemble small parts with excellent dexterity.
- Sit at a workstation for extended periods.
- Identify and report problems to group lead or manager.
- Access and follow drawings from computer system.
- Work in a safe and healthy manner.
- Scan on and off jobs.
- Use visual boards for communication and KPI tracking.
- Display professional conduct with customers and coworkers.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Two plus years of hands-on electrical experience with wiring
- Hand tools provided by NPI along with specific on-the-job training.
- Ability to read work instructions assembly drawings and schematics.
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced stressful environment.
- Mission-focused with a sense of urgency when required.
- Positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to work well with others.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Climate-controlled setting.
- Standing and walking required.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs at times.
- Bending twisting turning and using hands required.
