Summer Internship 2026 External Fund Management

The External Fund Management team at Income Insurance is responsible for overseeing externally managed investment portfolios across various asset classes. Our team conducts rigorous due diligence monitors fund performance and ensures alignment with strategic investment objectives and governance standards. We collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as risk compliance and finance as well as external fund managers to deliver optimal investment outcomes for our policyholders.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to institutional asset management practices within a dynamic and purpose-driven insurance an intern in the External Fund Management team you will support the evaluation and monitoring of investment funds contribute to governance and compliance efforts and assist in strategic decision-making processes. You will work alongside experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in fund analysis reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assistin onboarding new investment funds through quantitative and qualitative due diligence.
• Review fund managers strategies performance and investment philosophies.
• Conduct market research toidentifyemerging trends and investment opportunities.
• Monitor fund performance against benchmarks andobjectives.
• Prepare fund review reports and presentation materials for internal stakeholders.
• Participate in team discussions andhelp organiseknowledge-sharing sessions.
• Leverage automation tools to streamline data collection and reporting processes.
• Explore and apply AI-driven analytics to enhance fund screening and performance evaluation.
• Assistin developing dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI or Excel.
• Engage with external fund managers and industry professionals to stay updated on market developments.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance Economics Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong interest in investment analysis financial markets and asset management.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with investment platforms such asMercerEvestmentBloomberg Morningstar or FactSet is a plus.
