This is a great opportunity for a values-driven nurse to provide care and support to people on their journey to achieve alcohol and drug withdrawal in our Residential Withdrawal Unit in Ivanhoe.
You will be part of a strong multidisciplinary team supporting consumers with a holistic approach to assessment planning and care. Our clients are ambulant and can manage their personal care.
During business hours you will report to the Senior Registered Nurse on shift. When working outside these hours you will have the confidence and experience to oversee the team and clinical decision making.
You will work rotating rostered shifts over the full 24-hour period. Talk to us about what part-time looks like for you and well do our best to support you.
In addition to Registered Nurse Grade 3A rates and superannuation youll also receive 17.5% leave loading and an ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15900 in salary packaging benefits.

You will have access to paid parental leave for up to 10 weeks and can receive a 10% discounton the childcare subsidy gap fee when using a Uniting Early Learning service or centre.
You will ideally have solid experience working as a Registered Nurse in a Drug and Alcohol or Mental Health inpatient or custodial setting. Most importantly you have a track record working with clients with problematic drug and/or alcohol use in a calm empathetic and non-judgmental manner.
