Fiber Installation Supervisor, Special Projects

We are seeking a Installation Supervisor to join our Operations team for special projects in the field. We are seeking a field-based individual who is skilled in fiber installations MDU networking low-voltage systems and team this role you will oversee on-site installation teams manage contractors and ensure successful completion of special broadband projects.

**This position will require travel of up to 80% annually depending on project location and residence**

The Role

• Supervise and assist with the installation of single-mode and multi-mode fiber
• Manage and support contractors and internal technicians in the field
• Lead installation teams on-site and act as the primary liaison with clients
• Handle low-voltage wiring and ensure proper cable routing and termination
• Perform and troubleshoot broadband installations and system issues
• Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met while maintaining quality standards
• Interpret and implement MDU network designs effectively
• Use basic hand tools proficiently in field installations
• Coordinate with Project Managers to align resources timelines and deliverables
• Maintain documentation and reports related to project status and field activities
• Other duties as assigned

• 5 years of telecom/broadband experience
• 2-3 years of leadership or management experience
• Proven experience with fiber optics (single-mode and multi-mode)
• Strong understanding of MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) networking
• Proficiency in low-voltage wiring and related systems
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic installation equipment
• Familiarity with Ruckus and/or Cambium equipment is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead field teams and supervise projects
• Experience in troubleshooting and customer-facing installations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a drivers license is required if the role involves driving
• Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR Background Check Drug Screen)
