Job Summary
If you are an experienced Project Management professional looking for an opportunity to grow within a global organization Emerson hasa great opportunityfor you! As aProject Manager - Life Sciences you will join the team responsible for execution of DeltaVprojects focused on the Life Sciences industries up to $20M in value within Emersons Systems and Software business leader in theprocessautomation industry.
You can be based in one of our engineering center offices inHouston TXBluebell PA Durham NC Round Rock TX or St. Louis MO.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks in collaboration with the project team and customers.
- Lead projects to achieve cost schedule and quality objectives.
- Communicate and manage project changes that impact cost and/or schedule with customers.
- Contribute to proposal development by estimating project management and controls efforts creating preliminary schedules defining execution strategies and performing risk assessments.

For This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelors degree in scienceengineeringorarelated field
- 10 years of experience working within the software and technology industry with 5 of those years in Life Science.
- 5 years as a Project Manager.
- Demonstrated success managing complex projects involving scope financials schedule risk quality and customer relationships.
- Ability to travel to client and other Emerson locations up to 25% of the time.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- PMP Certification.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum project execution.
- Familiarity with DeltaV systems.
