Medison is seeking a highly driven Search & Evaluation Manager Business Development to strengthen our opportunity discovery and assessment engine across innovative biotech therapies. This role will be a key contributor within the S&E team focused primarily on proactive search intake/triage and rigorous scientific/clinical evaluation of external partnership opportunities that align with Medisons long-term growth strategy.



Responsibilities:
  • Execute proactive search strategy across defined therapeutic areas and modalities to identify partnership opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality opportunity pipeline
  • Lead triage of inbound/outbound opportunities using defined criteria
  • Drive structured rigorous scientific and clinical assessments
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs into concise evaluation summaries one-pagers and business cases
  • Perform competitive intelligence and landscape analyses
  • Participate in interactions with external partners to clarify data and close evaluation gaps
  • Act as a thought partner by surfacing insights risks and recommendations that improve the speed and quality of decisions

Requirements:

Required education and experience

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences (PhD /MD). MBA is a plus.
  • Over three years experience in pharma/biotech in Search & Evaluation BD strategy R&D/Clinical/Medical with clear exposure to external opportunity evaluation.
  • Strong understanding of drug development clinical data interpretation and regulatory pathways.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to create decision-ready decks/memos.

  • Highly organized proactive and effective in a fast-paced environment managing multiple parallel workstreams.
