The Role
Assist with the opening and closing of the school premises.
Carry out general maintenance repairs and basic DIY tasks.
Conduct regular site checks ensuring all areas are safe and hazard-free.
Support with security including alarm systems and access control.
Oversee contractors and deliveries.
Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas and ensure facilities are ready for daily use.
Requirements
Previous caretaking facilities or maintenance experience.
Good practical skills and the ability to carry out basic repairs.
Strong reliability initiative and communication skills.
Knowledge of health & safety and safeguarding procedures.
