A thriving primary school in Brent is seeking an experienced LKS2 Teacher to join the lower-KS2 team from January 2026. The successful LKS2 Teacher will plan and deliver cohesive sequences across Years 3 and 4 lead guided-reading and maths reasoning sessions and coordinate small-group interventions. This LKS2 Teacher position in Brent includes induction and handover prior to January 2026 with the LKS2 Teacher in post from January 2026.

The LKS2 Teacher will ensure continuity between Years 3 and 4 adapt resources for diverse learners and work with teaching assistants to provide high-impact support. The LKS2 Teacher will take part in moderation contribute to curriculum development and engage with parents to report progress across Brent.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver sequenced lessons across Years 3 and 4 that build cumulative knowledge.
Lead guided-reading writing units and maths fluency sessions tailored to LKS2 cohorts.
Run targeted small-group tuition and evaluate its impact on progress.
Collaborate with colleagues to moderate standards and refine curriculum sequences in Brent.
Maintain accurate assessment records and communicate next steps to families.
Person specification
Qualified teacher with proven experience teaching in lower KS2 and strong Year 3/4 outcomes.
Skilled at planning progressive sequences assessing learning and adapting provision.
Collaborative organised and ready to commence January 2026 in Brent.
