Job Summary
Head of Chemical Operations and Logistics - India
Location - Mumbai Goregaon
Industry - Chemical Petrochemical
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management- Develop and implement operational strategies policies and procedures to streamline processes and achieve business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity reduce costs and improve quality.
- Collaborate with trading sales compliance finance and treasury teams to align operations with organizational goals.
- Establish and track KPIs for operations inventory and service delivery.
- Manage transportation terminals/warehousing and distribution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Analyze logistics networks and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with carriers and logistics service providers.
- Ensure adherence to safety environmental and regulatory standards in all logistics activities.
- Recruit Lead train and mentor teams across operations and logistics functions.
- Foster a culture of accountability safety and continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage budgets for operations and logistics.
Prepare regular reports on operational performance cost control and logistics KPIs for senior management
