Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop hydraulic systems and components for new and existing products.
Perform simulations and calculations to ensure system performance and reliability.
Create detailed technical drawings specifications and documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical electrical and manufacturing engineers.
Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for hydraulic issues.
Support prototype development testing and validation of hydraulic systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Provide technical support during installation commissioning and maintenance phases.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical engineering Fluid Power Engineering or a related field.
5 years of experience in hydraulic system design and analysis.
Proficiency in CAD software (Creo SolidWorks AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB ANSYS).
Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics control valves pumps actuators and filtration systems.
Familiarity with ANSI Standards ISO SAE and other relevant hydraulic standards.
Good 3D modeling ability for piping and hose routings in 3D CAD software.
Good knowledge about JIC and SAE fittings for hydraulic pipes and hoses and sizing of hydraulic lines.
Experienced in selection of hydraulic components such as cylinders motors pumps etc.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experienced with AutoCAD.
