Job Summary
Ramboll is a leading transportation infrastructure consultancy committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions. With a focus on excellence and a reputation for delivering high-quality projects we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join us as the Design Engineer Highways for our domestic transportation business at Mumbai Office.
As the Design Engineer Highways you will play a pivotal role in advancing our transportation infrastructure projects. As a key member of our engineering team you will contribute to the delivery of projects.
Responsibilities
As a design engineer your key responsibilities will be:
To carry out detailed engineering or tender designs for various type of road projects.
To prepare calculation reports technical specifications and quantity take-offs and provide input for design drawings during all phases of projects.
To coordinate with team members and ensure delivery of projects within specified timeframe.
To perform QA checks on the designs and drawings produced to ensure quality delivery.
Qualifications :
Masters degree in transportation/highway engineering.
About 3-6 years of experience in transportation infrastructure projects with a proven record of successful detailed design project delivery.
Strong knowledge of IRC codes and MorTH standards. Knowledge of DMRB/AASHTO/any other international standards would be desirable.
Hands on experience in using software like OpenRoads Civil3D and AutoCAD etc.
Structured working style with result-oriented approach
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
