Job Summary

Position: Sr Program Manager
Location: Reston VA #HYBRID

Job Description:

Manages end-to-end delivery of team and internal projects from the initial kickoff to coordinating major launch milestones to maintaining and enhancing program performance over time.
Guides clients through key decisions communicates and coordinates activities internally and across departments.
Works on new needs for process and improvements and identifies and articulates internal client needs to the technology team.
Required previous experience in launching and navigated systems between the businesses
Previous experience with handling programs in Healthcare Insurance Background
Required previously experience defined and implemented robust governance models (application and infrastructure) that provided clear decision-making pathways across disparate business units involved in the programs
This includes setting up steering committees establishing communication protocols and creating an integrated risk management framework to ensure alignment and collective accountability when launching shared navigation systems for healthcare claims
Should have a track record involving orchestrating data mapping defining interoperability standards and ensuring seamless information flow to create a unified navigation system that accurately processes and manages healthcare claims end-to-end
Bachelors Degree (Business Management or related field)
15 years experience in a program operation role with 5 years in a program management capacity.
Ability to recognize analyze and solve a variety of problems. Expert
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Expert
Proficient in project planning and life cycle development. Expert
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Expert
Ability to train and mentor others. Advanced

Licenses/Certifications:

Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI required
PgMP - Program Management Professional Required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

35% Coordinates with internal client and internal teams to launch maintain and enhance complex programs. Guides internal clients through key decisions and communicates and coordinates activities internally and across network of partners.
20% Manages and updates Project Schedule Issues/Action Items/Risks Installation Checklist and Shipping Register.
20% Identifies and articulates new customer needs to the technology team.
10% Manages all aspects of implementation including ordering applicable equipment overseeing installation assisting with and supporting of account creation managing communications
and reconciling inventory upon completion.
10% Ensures and drives deliverables to completion per the implementation schedule.
5% Conducts training for customers.
