About the role: As a Behaviour Mentor in Havering London youll play a pivotal role in supporting students with challenging behaviour and special educational needs. Working closely with dedicated staff in a school rated Outstanding by Ofsted youll have the opportunity to develop positive relationships and make a lasting impact on student wellbeing and academic success.
Key responsibilities of a Behaviour Mentor:
Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs.
Assist children with challenging behaviour using empathy and excellent communication skills.
Collaborate with teachers and the SEN team to create a positive learning environment.
Use your creativity and aspiration to inspire students to reach their potential.
Contribute to the overall ethos of integrity creativity and aspiration within the school.
What youll need to succeed:
A minimum 2:1 degree from a Top 20 UK University.
Outstanding A-Level results.
A passion for working with children particularly those with SEN.
Patience empathy and excellent listening skills.
A desire to progress within the field of education.
Job specifics:
Location: Havering London
Pay: 444-513 weekly via PAYE (including holiday pay)
Contract Type: Full Time Long Term until July 2026
