Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Service & Support Engineer in the medical manufacturing field to support customers in the installation commissioning maintenance and troubleshooting of advanced diagnostic and technical equipment. The role involves both on-site and remote support ensuring reliable system performance and strong customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Field Support

  • Install commission test and troubleshoot a range of high-technology diagnostic and equipment systems.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues during start-up and operational stages.

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective servicing under service agreements.

  • Provide technical guidance user support and training to customers to ensure smooth system adoption.

Customer Engagement

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with end-users and technical teams to support ongoing business customer requirements and recommend suitable upgrades improvements or service solutions.

  • Handle service enquiries via phone and onsite visits including occasional after-hours support when required.

Operational & Cross-Functional Support

  • Support commercial and application teams in preparing for product demonstrations workshops and industry events.

  • Review and implement technical bulletins engineering updates and service advisories issued by headquarters or regional technical teams.

  • Contribute to documentation reporting and escalation of complex cases to higher technical support tiers when necessary.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Electronic Electrical Mechatronic Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in handling of medical equipment or healthcare related industry is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with common industry communication standards for data exchange and workflow integration (e.g. DICOM HL7).

  • Experience with system networking server configuration Windows OS/Windows Server environments and basic IT infrastructure setup.

  • Ability to configure test environments and perform systematic technical evaluations.

  • Strong foundation in electrical electronic or mechanical engineering principles.

  • Knowledge of technical systems used in healthcare or regulated environments is an advantage.

  • Willingness to undergo required certifications or licensing relevant to working with regulated equipment.
