Risk Manager Outsourced Risk Management
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced and professional Risk Manager to join a team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the clients comprehensive insurance and risk management programs. This position is remote with occasional travel required and offers an exciting opportunity to work with large accounts in the Real Estate and Construction sectors.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $150000 - $170000 annually
- 401(k): Employer match up to 6%
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package provided
- Work Environment: Fully remote with necessary equipment provided
- Travel: Occasional travel required up to two in-person meetings in Denver per year
Responsibilities
As a Risk Manager your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and driving clients risk management programs.
- Acting as a strategic consultant to internal partners across U.S. offices.
- Reviewing and analyzing the effectiveness of loss management programs including coverage and cost reduction strategies.
- Collaborating with brokerage services to assess risk finance and purchasing opportunities.
- Developing and implementing reporting protocols for risk mitigation programs and cost analysis.
- Conducting risk assessments and analyzing documentation statistics reports and market trends.
- Reviewing and improving risk management policies and protocols.
- Analyzing metrics and data to identify potential risks including fraudulent behavior.
- Drafting and presenting risk reports and proposals to executive leadership.
- Recommending and implementing risk management solutions such as insurance policies safety protocols and business continuity plans.
- Managing claims and loss control activities.
- Representing clients in the insurance market and managing third-party vendor relationships.
- Reviewing and negotiating insurance provisions in contracts with input from legal teams.
- Responding to Certificate-of-Insurance requests and general insurance inquiries.
- Coordinating the administration of insurance including exposure collection insurer presentations and preparation of insurance budgets.
Qualifications/Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in internal risk management preferably within non-insurance companies.
- Strong background in managing risk for Real Estate and Construction accounts.
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
- Preferred certifications: CIC Certified in Safety Professional ASP ARM or CRIS.
- Proven ability to analyze and improve risk management policies and programs.
- Experience in managing claims loss control activities and insurance provisions in contracts.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present findings effectively.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and travel as required.
- Successful completion of a background check is required prior to the start date.
