We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to help grow and support CRCs footprint within the Western U.S.
This role blends relationship-building territory expansion technical sales and channel partner support.
Person will work directly with our channel partners who sell our products to the end client.
This includes educating training being the SME on channel partner sales calls with the end client attending trade shows webinars etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive new business growth through strategic engagement with engineers contractors and facilities
Manage and support CRCs channel partners and key accounts within your region
Deliver technical sales presentations and lead solution-based selling initiatives
Identify high-potential projects and guide them from design through post-installation support
Collaborate closely with internal application engineers and marketing to deliver a seamless customer experience
Facilitate and attend trade shows webinars and training events to stay ahead of industry trends
DESCRIPTION OF KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Industry Experience: HVAC or Building Automation Sales
Ideal candidates should have a minimum of five (5) years of sales experience in the HVAC or building automation industry.
Experience with airflow and pressure management systems is strongly preferred.
The candidate should be comfortable navigating complex mechanical environments and understand the sales cycle related to engineered products in commercial or institutional facilities.
Channel Partner & Territory Management
Proven ability to manage sales through channel partners managing exclusive territory for each channel partner.
Experience in building and maintaining long-term relationships across a sales territory.
Bonus if theyve worked in a multi-state or regional capacity supporting indirect sales.
Technical Aptitude
Ability to understand explain and sell technical concepts related to HVAC airflow pressure and critical environment controls.
Comfortable engaging with engineers facility managers and contractors and translating product capabilities into value-based solutions.
Critical Room Controls (CRC) designs engineers and manufactures innovative solutions for critical environments.
CRC is looking for a technical account manager well versed in HVAC/Building Automation to handle Channel Partner relationships (12-14 Channel Partners in territory) in 12 western states:
AZ CA CO ID MT NM NV OR TX UT WA WY.
They will own the relationship with resellers (channel partners) to educate train be the SME on channel partner sales calls etc.
Must Have:
5 years of technical sales experience in HVAC building automation industry.
Factory company experience as territory or regional manager.
Worked for an HVAC manufacturer or a Building Automations manufacturer.
Strong knowledge of airflow measurement room pressure monitoring or building systems
Mechanical systems.
Experience working with design engineers specifiers contractors and owners
Ability to understand explain and sell technical concepts. Especially those related to HVAC airflow pressure and critical environment controls.
Nice to Have:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or related field.
Experience working in a multi-state or regional capacity supporting indirect sales.
Additional Information:
Ability to travel 50% of the time within the western territory.
