Coperion Process Control Panel Assembler
Duties:
Building and assembling of Process Control panels.
Laying out back panels and enclosure for drilling tapping and cutouts of components.
Wiring labeling and tagging of all wires cables and devices in Process Control panels.
Operating engraving equipment to produce tags
Operating computers and specialized printers to produce wire labels
Identify components using electrical schematics and bills of material.
Install conduit and complete wiring between control panels and equipment mounted instrumentation.
Construction of crates for shipping electrical control cabinets and controls related equipment
Qualifications:
Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Word for printing wire labels and engraving tags
Knowledge of basic hand tools.
Able to read understand and utilize various engineering and manufacturing documents including bills of materials assembly drawings assembly instructions wiring schematics and diagrams
Candidates that have experience and or education in the electric and controls field are preferred but on the job training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail and the ability troubleshoot and ask questions when needed.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
