Description
NextGen Hospitality Solutions is seeking a Director of People and Culture to lead our human resources initiatives in Newport. This full-time on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the employee experience and drive organizational development within the hospitality industry.
As the Director of People and Culture you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives that align with our business goals. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture enhancing employee engagement and ensuring that our talent management practices are industry-leading. This position is crucial in contributing to the overall success of NextGen Hospitality Solutions as we continue to innovate and grow in the hospitality sector.
We offer a competitive salary range of $145000 - $165000 annually along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development and career growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives
- Lead talent acquisition and retention initiatives to attract top talent
- Design and oversee employee engagement programs
- Foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with company values
- Implement performance management systems and processes
- Provide leadership and guidance on employee relations issues
- Oversee compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Develop training and development programs for staff
- Analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and strategy
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive organizational change
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
- 10 years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
