The Recruitment Manager is responsible for leading scaling and optimizing our clients Nursing Recruitment function supporting rapid growth across State Government and Private Healthcare facilities throughout Regional & Remote Australia. This role oversees the full recruitment lifecycle manages an offshore team and ensures high service delivery standards to both clients and candidates.
What Youll Do
- Lead daily operations of the nursing recruitment team (Consultants & Compliance Admin).
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to fill high-volume hard-to-fill nursing roles in rural and remote locations.
- Drive continuous improvement across sourcing candidate engagement and client servicing.
- Support relationship management with Australian healthcare providers.
- Understand client workforce requirements shift patterns contract types and prioritization needs.
- Deliver weekly performance reports and recruitment forecasts to Ocean Talent management.
- Oversee job advertising talent engagement talent pooling and proactive candidate acquisition.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processesincluding screening interviewing shortlisting and offer management.
- Ensure compliance with AHPRA WWCC immunization police checks and facility-specific onboarding. Team Management
- Train mentor and supervise recruitment consultants and compliance administrators.
- Monitor daily KPIs SLAs and performance metrics.
Requirements
What You Bring
Were looking for someone who:
- 5 years recruitment experience (healthcare or nursing strongly preferred).
- Experience leading a recruitment team remotely.
- Strong understanding of compliance-heavy recruitment.
- Excellent English communication (written & verbal).
- Ability to work Australian business hours.
- Tech-savvy (ATS/CRM systems Microsoft Office candidate sourcing platforms).
- Experience with State Health (NSW Health NT health) highly advantageous KPIs
