My client a leading social business delivering high-impact reproductive health services across Nigeria is seeking an exceptional Head of Procurement to drive transparency value-for-money and operational excellence across the procurement function. What Youll Do

As the Head/Assistant Director of Procurement you will:

• Lead the organisation-wide procurement strategy ensuring cost-effective ethical and compliant sourcing.
  

• Manage and oversee all procurement vendor evaluation contracting and negotiation activities.
  

• Strengthen procurement governance anti-fraud measures and compliance with organizatiopns global standards donor rules and Nigerian laws.
  

• Build and mentor a high-performing procurement team driving a culture of accountability and excellence.
  

• Oversee audits risk mitigation and continuous improvement of procurement processes and ERP systems.
  

• Represent the organization in supply chain forums and manage relationships with suppliers regulators donors and partners.
  

• Support fleet management and administrative oversight as part of senior leadership responsibilities.
  

Requirements

Who You Are

You are a strategic procurement leader with strong technical compliance and people leadership capabilities.

You bring:

• Masters degree in Economics Business Admin Supply Chain Procurement or related field
  

• Relevant certification (CIPS ISM or equivalent) mandatory
  

• Minimum 10 years experience managing complex procurement (medical commodities or technical services)
  

• Strong understanding of donor-funded procurement (e.g. USAID FCDO UN World Bank)
  

• Experience supervising teams and managing high-value contracts
  

• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. Tally Navision Oracle)
  

• Excellent negotiation communication analytical and stakeholder management skills
  

• High integrity emotional intelligence and a commitment to transparency
