Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Radial Drilling Operator with strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in precision machining operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate radial drilling machines with full understanding of drilling processes.
- Perform operations using tapping chucks and other relevant tooling.
- Plan and execute machining tasks following proper operation sequences.
- Select appropriate cutting tools determine correct cutting parameters and follow proper tool-holding methods.
- Optimize cutting speed and ensure effective tool life management.
- Conduct in-process and final inspection using various measurement instruments (e.g. Vernier Micrometer Height Gauge etc.).
- Prepare inspection plans and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings verify machining feasibility and understand operation requirements.
- Ensure production of high-quality components within specified timeframes.
- Handle crane/OHC operations for lifting and transporting heavy jobs safely onto machines.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of drilling machine operations.
- Understanding of machining principles and cutting parameters.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and crane handling.
- Ability to identify and resolve machining issues.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
