We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Facilitator - Theatre for a leading Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 per week (Full-Time)
Responsibilities
Act as a strong clinical role model promoting excellence in Theatre nursing practice.
Foster a positive learning environment providing mentorship preceptorship and clinical teaching for nurses students HCAs and nurses returning to practice.
Support staff development by assisting with orientation ensuring completion of mandatory training and contributing to in-service educational programmes.
Stay updated on current treatments techniques and research using educational opportunities to maintain best practice standards in Theatre.
Participate in performance reviews identify staff training needs and help implement development plans for all team members.
Demonstrate effective leadership and communication contributing to a supportive work environment and maintaining strong staff morale.
Adhere to hospital policies procedures and accreditation standards collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team and Unit Manager.
Assist in recruitment processes including interviewing and selecting staff for the Theatre department.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation and communication ensuring timely reporting of incidents and participating actively in meetings and briefings.
Uphold professional standards support the hospital mission show flexibility across departments participate in quality-improvement initiatives and assume acting-up responsibilities when required.
Requirements
- Registered with the NMBIs general division
- At least three years of theater recovery experience
- Proof of individual professional growth
- Continuous skill development that is pertinent to the care needed for the patient caseload
