DescriptionIn This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Disassembly parts replacement and full reassembly of the returned units
- Carry out component testing when required.
- Optical alignment of gas sensor sub-components.
- Full system testing of repaired production gas analytical equipment
Maintain a repair tracking system to log all work and failures.
Work with the Manufacturing and Repair Team Leader to set up reasonable repair times and metrics and work to meet and beat them.
Feedback to design teams on all failures of our products to aid continuous improvement.
Maintain the work area to a safe and clean status working to ESD procedures where necessary.
Be an active member of the team contributing ideas for continuous improvement at all levels within the company.

For This Role You Will Need:
Relevant degree/diploma in electronics
Experience of Assembly/Test and preferably gas handling
Technically competent and able to use scientific equipment.

Quick to learn and adapt to new situations and environments.
Excellent communication skills including written and oral reporting.
