Your key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for managing the reservations department and ensuring smooth operations
- Actively solicit and manage reservation and group housing sales opportunities to drive revenue
- Maximize revenue through effective up-selling of every booking opportunity
- Ensure excellent guest service and loyalty through service excellence
- Prepare and maintain offers contracts and booking confirmations
- Monitor forecast data and group reservations
- Control no-shows waitlists and accurate billing instructions
- Collaborateclosely with Sales Front Office and Convention Services
- Lead motivate and train the reservations and group housing team including scheduling
Be able.
- Completed education or degree in hospitality tourism or similar field
- Several years of experience in reservations ideally with leadership responsibility
- Solid understanding of market trends revenue management and F&B offerings
- Strong communication and sales skills in German and English
- Proficient in Opera and MS Office
- Hands-on mentality organizational talent and passion for leading a team
- Ideally you already have experience working with the Opera hotel system
