Your key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for managing the reservations department and ensuring smooth operations
  • Actively solicit and manage reservation and group housing sales opportunities to drive revenue
  • Maximize revenue through effective up-selling of every booking opportunity
  • Ensure excellent guest service and loyalty through service excellence
  • Prepare and maintain offers contracts and booking confirmations
  • Monitor forecast data and group reservations
  • Control no-shows waitlists and accurate billing instructions
  • Collaborateclosely with Sales Front Office and Convention Services
  • Lead motivate and train the reservations and group housing team including scheduling

Be able.

  • Completed education or degree in hospitality tourism or similar field
  • Several years of experience in reservations ideally with leadership responsibility
  • Solid understanding of market trends revenue management and F&B offerings
  • Strong communication and sales skills in German and English
  • Proficient in Opera and MS Office
  • Hands-on mentality organizational talent and passion for leading a team
  • Ideally you already have experience working with the Opera hotel system
