Purpose of this position
The China Commercial Excellence Operations Director will serve as a key pillar within the Commercial Excellence organization responsible for connecting strategy and execution with the majority of time spent monitoring and driving execution excellence
The role aims to enhance the operational efficiency of SFE CE Data Foundation and Customer Experience elevate the strategic stature of functions promote a range of company level CE strategic projects including the design of go-to-market strategies digital customer engagement and performance management thereby strengthening the companys competitiveness
Key Responsibilities
Tactics and Execution
Lead the annual regular optimization of the companys go-to-market & deployment model to ensure optimal market coverage and resource allocation
Build a performance management system from KPI setting to action closure promoting a data-driven management culture
Identify critical capability gaps in SFE operations and customer engagement and drive cross-department capability enhancement projects
Leadership
Integrate the existing teams to improve strategic collaboration and execution efficiency
Guide the team to transition from traditional support roles to strategic partners
Enhance the teams understanding and judgment regarding data business needs and tool development moving from demand executors to value creators
Digital Transformation
Drive the upgrade of digital tools such as customer engagement planning tools customer segmentation and content management from tool provision to strategic planning insight enabling
Improve data management standards and promote operational data systematization and automation
Collaborate with IT Marketing Sales and other departments to implement digital solutions that deliver business value
Qualification
Work Experience
At least 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry
Deep expertise in Sales Force Excellence Sales Operations Digital Customer Engagement
Strong ability to develop and implement strategies
Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams especially in driving change in uncertain environments
Experience in Sales Management is a strong plus

Results-oriented and execution-driven: skilled at solving complex problems and delivering outcomes in fast-paced environments

Educational Background
Bachelors degree or above from a reputable university
MBA is a plus
