A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A MACHINE BUILDER-1st Shift
As an Assembler you will work in a clean comfortable environment as you fit together parts and components to build our blending and conveying equipment. Attention to detail is key while you read blue prints study assembly instructions gather parts tools and materials. Quality is critical for our equipment so you will inspect finished products to verify measurements determine any need for adjustment and ensure proper operation. Problem solving is a key skill to resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet requirements. Forklift operation and basic maintenance will be a part of your daily tasks to move equipment to/from other departments.
Safety Always is our motto which you support by monitoring equipment and materials to ensure safe operation while following safety procedures as you work.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MACHINE BUILDER-1st Shift
- Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform duties
- Knowledge of measuring equipment including micrometers calipers and tape measures
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Complete training to become forklift certified within 30 days
- Lift up to 25 pounds frequently 50 pounds occasionally
- High school diploma or equivalent required
1ST SHIFT WORK SCHEDULE AS A MACHINE BUILDER
The typical schedule for this full-time 1st shift position is Monday -Thursday from 5 am to 2:30 pm and Friday from 5 am to 9 am with weekends free!
