This position performs lead duties within the department. Schedules surgical and anesthesia care provider procedures within established guidelines. Coordinates resources available for maximum utilization. Obtains patient and procedural information prints distributes and updates schedules. Keeps statistical information. Performs computer data entry and retrieval. Demonstrates strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. required
- Three years of experience in a healthcare setting required
- Previous surgical scheduling experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong computer skills
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
