Applicants will be considered in the following order:

2) Qualified probationary temporary and Temporary Hourly Rated (THR) ESS/OSSTF employees.
3) Qualified external applicants (includes employees from other Bargaining Units).
Reporting to the Principal through the Office Supervisor the successful applicant for this Temporary Educational Support Staff position Level E will be supporting the activities of the Guidance Office and its day-to-day operation.
The successful applicant for this Temporary Educational Support Staff position Level E willwork 35 hours per week effective January 2 2026 to February 20 2026 (with the possibility of extension).
Provide administrative support to the schools Guidance Office;
Interact positively with students staff and community;
Maintain and supervise the distribution receipt and storage of Ontario Student Records (OSR) information files;
Perform computer functions in Aspen including the maintenance of student scheduling registration and retiring students sharing and end sharing students maintaining credit history in the transcript window entering SHSM certificates receive and enter community service hours;
Produce reports as needed including transcripts SHSM records and report cards;
Sending and tracking OCAS and OUAC data for student applications;
Providing assistance with the preparation and completion of ONSIS submissions;
Assist with the preparation of materials for various information meetings including the course calendars and course selection materials;
Maintain inventory of supplies for the Guidance Office; and
Excellent working knowledge of: MS Office Suite including Word Excel and PowerPoint Google Apps for Education (GAFE) Windows Aspen Student Information System and website maintenance/Wordpress is required;
Have knowledge of Ministry of Education Ontario School Diploma (OSSD) requirements;
Ability to work collaboratively as a member of the administrative and support team of the school;
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form with students staff and the community;
Possess excellent customer service skills;
Possess excellent interpersonal skills - positive caring and compassionate;
Possess excellent organizational and time managementskills as well as possess initiative and independence to organizing their day;
Possess excellent multi-tasking and problem solving skills;
Possess the ability to complete assigned duties with minimal supervision; and
