Warehouse Technician

As a Warehouse Technician you will provide operational support to our Gladstone facility ensuring efficient and safe handling of goods and inventory.

In this position you will:

• Maintain a safe working environment including all related machinery and equipment.
• Physically handle all materials through the warehouse and manage inventory control.
• Load and unload vehicles; receive verify store pack/unpack goods and materials.
• Accurately maintain inventory records and perform daily cycle counts and annual stock counts.
• Use ERP and logistics systems (e.g. SAP) for managing receipting and shipping.
• Prepare and complete packing and documentation for delivery or pickup.
• Liaise with internal and external parties to optimise process and document flow.
• Understand transport company requirements and shipping/handling legislation.
• Operate and maintain forklift and overhead gantry crane as required.
• Ensure the warehouse is organised presentable and safe at all times.

For this position you must have:

• Previous experience in a similar warehousing role with shipping and receiving responsibilities.

• Current Forklift and Overhead Gantry Crane License.

• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.

• Knowledge of import and export requirements.

• Experience using ERP and logistics systems such as SAP.

• Basic computer skills.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective business relations.

• Good communication skills.

• Physical strength and dexterity to perform heavy work.
