MonThu: 7:30 AM 5:00 PM
Fri: 7:30 AM 12:00 PM

Pay: $1950 $2160 per week (depending on experience)

Position Overview

A healthcare facility in Lawrenceville GA is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technician for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in a variety of ultrasound procedures and able to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including transvaginal anatomy and transverse scans.
Prepare position and guide patients through imaging procedures ensuring comfort and understanding.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality and proper functionality.
Capture analyze and document ultrasound images noting abnormalities for physician review.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all imaging data is properly documented.

Required Skills & Experience

2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
Proficiency in diverse ultrasound scan types (e.g. transvaginal anatomy transverse)
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Required Certifications (Must Be Active Prior to Start)

BLS American Heart Association (AHA)
R.D.M.S. Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
Active registration with ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers)
