Technical Service Manager AMEA
Location: Mumbai India
ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation Process & Marine Offshore
ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation is looking for an experienced Technical Service Manager (AMEA) to be based in Mumbai supporting key customers and internal stakeholders across Asia Middle East & Africa within the Process Industry and Marine & Offshore segments.
This is a regionally exposed high-impact technical role combining engineering expertise customer advisory training and close cooperation with Sales.
Role and Purpose
To provide best-in-class technical advisory and service support to customers contractors shipyards and internal sales teams strengthening ROCKWOOLs position as a preferred solution provider in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert for Process and Marine & Offshore insulation solutions.
- Provide technical consultancy to customers and internal sales team.
- Deliver technical presentations and training sessions to customers and internal teams.
- Train Sales in application handling and performance of insulation systems.
- Collect market and customer feedback and support continuous improvement of products and systems.
- Monitor competitor solutions and market developments in the AMEA region
- Manage the end-to-end quality complaint process in the region including investigation of technical issues root cause analysis coordination with factory and communication of resolutions to customers
- Perform on-site technical inspections audits and troubleshooting at customer sites shipyards and construction projects
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of key projects and activities in CRM
Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical education
- Minimum 5 years of technical experience in:
- Industrial insulation and/or
- Marine / Offshore insulation
- Fluent English (spoken and written) mandatory
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across cultures in a regional role
Desirable
- Experience in technical training and public presentations
- Project-based working experience
- Knowledge of international standards (ISO IMO ASTM EN)
