What you will do:

Reporting to the VP of Total Rewards & HR Operations this role is responsible for the design adoption implementation and optimization of Cineplexs Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) in support of Cineplexs strategic priorities as well as directing the operational effectiveness of HR services. You will act as a key liaison between HR Data & Technology Operations and external vendors to enable operational excellence and deliver seamless employee experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ownership for the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of Workday HCM and related business processes including data governance security and compliance
  • Serve as a strong consultative partner to business and functional leaders to continuously improve service delivery and employee experience
  • Drive the deployment of feature releases and system maintenance
  • Ensure up-to-date documentation of HRIS functionalities processes and capabilities
  • Lead projects related to enhancements of HRIS including gathering requirements developing specifications preparing user communications conducting training sessions and coordinating implementation activities
  • Identify emerging trends in HR technology and assess their potential impact on the organizations use of HRIS and related processes to improve process effectiveness
  • Maintain relationships with key vendor partners to ensure awareness of evolving HRIS solutions and to assess their applicability to the organizations needs
  • Provide advice and guidance to senior leaders on HRIS-related issues
  • Support the organization on how to make more efficient use of people data and analytics to drive better decision making and people-focused initiatives
  • Define and refine service level agreements and key metrics to monitor efficiency and effectiveness; analyze internal customer feedback and engage with key stakeholders for input
  • Lead the HRIS team through providing regular feedback coaching and recognition to employees

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline such as Human Resources Business Administration or Information Technology
  • Minimum 7 years progressive experience with Workday HCM and other modules including configuration integration release management business process optimization and security management in a complex business environment
  • Strong understanding of HR functions end to end processes and systems integration to ensure operational excellence of HR services and optimization of HRIS
  • Expert-level proficiency in Workday including the design development and optimization of dashboards reports and advanced analytics to support strategic decision-making
  • Considerable experience evaluating enhancing and streamlining HR workflows with the ability to identify inefficiencies recommend improvements and implement optimized end-to-end processes
  • Strong understanding of Workday AI capabilities including emerging features automation opportunities and practical use cases
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing high-performing HRIS teams providing coaching mentorship and guidance to ensure team members
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional collaboration partnering with business stakeholders to ensure HRIS initiatives meet both technical and organizational requirements
  • Certification in Workday HCM is definite asset
  • Proven project management skills and strong understanding of change management discipline
  • Excellent communication skills and experience liaising with all levels of the organization
