The Groves Senior Living is hiring aStaffing and Recruitment Coordinatorto join our Health and Wellness leadership team. This role works under the Health and Wellness Director and shares supervisory responsibility with the Resident Care Coordinator. Together you will recruit hire schedule coach and support our caregiver team in Assisted Living and Memory Care.
This is a supervisory position that combines people leadership with administrative work. Candidates must beArizona Certified Caregivers and able to step into a caregiver or medication assistant shift only when needed to ensure full coverage. What Youll Do
Recruiting and Hiring
Recruit caregivers through job boards walk-ins referrals and community partnerships.
Screen applicants and coordinate interviews with the Health and Wellness Director and RCC.
Support the full hiring process including reference checks onboarding steps and regulatory documentation.
Build and maintain a strong values-aligned caregiver pipeline.
Schedule new hire orientation and training.
Scheduling and Staffing
Create and maintain caregiver schedules for Assisted Living and Memory Care.
Respond to call outs open shifts and daily staffing needs with calm solution-focused communication.
Work closely with the RCC to ensure resident care needs are always covered.
Participate in the on-call staffing rotation.
Provide hands-on support as a caregiver or med-tech only when needed to ensure full coverage.
Leadership and Team Support
Provide daily support coaching and redirection to caregivers.
Help monitor attendance and follow up with caregivers as needed.
Assist with corrective actions and documentation with all discipline or termination decisions made as a team with the HWD and RCC.
Model professionalism teamwork and compassionate resident care.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must already have or be able to obtain quickly:
Arizona Certified Caregiver credential
Current CPR and First Aid Certification
Negative TB test within the past 12 months
Active Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
Food Handler Card
Must pass abackground checkanddrug screen
Preferred Qualifications
At least six months of caregiving experience
Experience supervising or leading others
Comfortable learning computer-based scheduling systems
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to stay calm and focused when staffing needs shift quickly
