| Job Description: | The University of Florida Department of Medicine and Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a tenure/non-tenure Assistant/Associate/Full Professor with innovative leadership and good interpersonal skills to become an active and integral member of the Division of Cardiology Section of Heart Failure. Rank and Tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications. The University of Florida has a long track record of being a national leader in advanced heart failure. With a celebrated transplant and mechanical circulatory support history combined with unique opportunities for research and teaching ours is a premiere academic program. We are seeking a dynamic physician to join our growing team. Applicants should have a record of distinguished accomplishments and proficiency in clinical duties administration and clinical investigation to include mentoring new physicians fostering a progressive and dynamic work environment and promoting teaching and research. Responsibilities will include heart failure services at the UF Health Shands Hospital at the University of Florida. Clinical duties will include performance and teaching in heart failure services. Coverage of inpatient heart failure services and general cardiology services as well as outpatient clinical duties and other duties as assigned. Individuals with expertise in Infiltrative Cardiomyopathies Cardio Oncology or Inheritable Cardiomyopathies are encouraged to apply. |
